Hello, my name is Ewart Nijburg. In 1983, at the age of 9, I started programming a Commodore 64 home computer. Soon after, I traded Basic for Pascal and Assembler, followed by Borland Delphi and finally the switch to C#. Professionally I have more than 20 years of experience with software development and architecture.
Education
I have a masterβs in IT from The Univeristy of Liverpool where I specialized in Computer communications and networks, Computer structures, Operating systems, Programming, Security engineering and Advanced topics in computer science.
Experience
My professional career started in 1995 as a Delphi programmer, within a few years I worked as a technical architect for a large stockbroker. For the last 17 years I have been self employed and most of the time I have been working as a hybrid architect/lead developer on primarily the Microsoft technology stack. Industries I have been working in are Finance and insurance, Professional and business services, Manufacturing, Government, Auditing and Defense.

In my daily work I do a lot of troubleshooting and solving tough problems for customers. This blog will be a place for me to write about the solutions so others might benefit. If time permits ofcourse.
